At the 2025 National Student Vovinam Championship held from October 19th to 25th in Vinh Long, the Vovinam team of Hue University excellently won 2 gold medals, 1 silver medal, and 2 bronze medals.

On the familiar green chalkboard, under the skillful hands of Ms. Le Thi Loc Phuong, an art teacher from Tu Ha Primary School No. 1 (Huong Tra Ward), the heritage sites of Hue such as Ngu Phung Pavilion, Thien Mu Pagoda’s bell tower, or the graceful curve of Truong Tien Bridge gradually come to life. Each delicate stroke of white and colored chalk transforms the classroom chalkboard into a lively painting, evoking an image of Hue that is both serene and poetic.

With excellent achievements at the 2025 National Classical and Freestyle Wrestling Championship, key figures of Hue City’s wrestling team continue to affirm their determination to conquer the peak at the 33rd SEA Games.

On the afternoon of October 8, Hue College of Tourism coordinated with Cholimex Foods to hold a contest titled “Finding Hue’s Culinary Ambassador - Season 6” with the theme “Hue Cuisine in the Green Flow - Creativity for Sustainable Development”.

On the morning of October 3, over 3,300 students in the city area officially participated in the City-level Examination to Select Excellent High School Students for the academic year 2025 - 2026, held at Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted. This activity is held annually to identify and nurture talented students, while also assessing the quality of learning and teaching in schools.

On October 2, a team of doctors and medical staff from Hue Odonto-Stomatology Hospital organized a Community Dentistry program at Hue City Center for Social Work and Child Protection Fund. This initiative was part of the 2025 community oral disease prevention plan implemented by the Hue City Department of Health.

On September 30th, the Ministry of Education and Training organized an online training workshop aimed at strengthening the capacity of staff and teachers responsible for child protection in the online environment. In Hue, the workshop took place at Nguyen Tri Phuong Secondary School.

In the journey to spread and preserve the value of Hue Singing (Ca Hue) for both today and the future, along with artisans, there are also music teachers in schools. They are considered as emissaries, who contribute to spreading the famous art form of Hue to students, ensuring its continuity for generations to come.

The National Sepak Takraw Championship 2025 for elite teams officially opened on the afternoon of September 15th at the square opposite Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted. The tournament is co-organized by the Department of Culture & Sports and Vietnam Sepak Takraw Federation.

Alongside promotional activities in several European countries, Hue City’s tourism sector has teamed up with Da Nang to present Central Vietnam tourism in general and that of Hue in particular to the tourism markets of Malaysia and Indonesia. These are considered traditional and promising sources of tourists for Hue.
