On the morning of March 11th, at Duy Tan Hotel, a seminar was held to commemorate the 150th birthday anniversary of Mr.Le Van Mien - a cultural figure and an artist. The seminar was organized by Thua Thien Hue Union of Literature and Arts Associations and Thua Thien Hue Fine Arts Association.

In 2023, Thua Thien Hue's artists were actively engaged in various cultural and artistic events in parallel with significant developments in the province's literature and arts.

On the morning of December 8, the People’s Committee of Hue City in collaboration with the Vietnam Photography Association, the Union of Literature and Arts Associations, and the Provincial Photography Association held an award ceremony and opening of the news and artistic photo contest called Hue – The Friendly Land.

On the afternoon of September 18, Thua Thien Hue Photography Association held a photo exhibition on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the establishment of the Provincial Union of Literature and Arts Associations.

On the morning of August 16, in Hue city, Vietnam Fine Arts Association collaborated with Thua Thien Hue Union of Literature and Arts Associations held the 28th North Central Region Fine Arts Exhibition 2023.

Following the traditional relationship for the past 63 years, on the morning of May 24, the Unions of Literary and Art Associations of three localities of Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Thua Thien Hue signed an agreement to cooperate and coordinate in activities in the field of literature and arts.

A large number of literature lovers in Hue and surrounding provinces has had an emotional afternoon as they listened to Tran Thuy Mai, a writer, sharing about her historical novels about the Nguyen dynasty recently.
