“Sky, Mountains, Water | Allusive Panorama” is a painting exhibition organized by the Art Republik Vietnam magazine in collaboration with Hue Monuments Conservation Center and the French Institute in Vietnam. It will take place from March 25 and last for two weeks at Kien Trung Palace, Hue Imperial Citadel.

Hue Community Ao Dai Week 2025 will take place from June 6th to June 15th across the two districts of Phu Xuan and Thuan Hoa, as well as in various towns and communes.

On the morning of March 14, Hue City People’s Committee held a conference titled “Reports on the results of the survey to identify issues and solutions for drainage and wastewater treatment in Hue City”. Attending the program were Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Hoang Hai Minh; and Mr. Tamoto Norihide, Policy Advisor on Drainage, JICA expert at the Ministry of Construction.

People say that Hue is so strange that every time you pick up the camera to take a photo, a beautiful corner will be covered into your lens, no matter it is taken by a professional camera or just a smartphone. This is even truer when Hue enters the dewy season, the time when chilly air mingles with the warmth of the sun.

My Hue has two seasons each year: rain and sunshine. When it rains, the sky and earth turn white, as though “heaven dispatches its annual flood”. When it’s sunny, it’s hot enough to tan your skin. On the morning of March 10 (the 11th day of the second lunar month of the Year of the Snake), Hue Monuments Conservation Center organized the Xa Tac Worship Ceremony at the Xa Tac Esplanade (Thuan Hoa Ward, Phu Xuan District, Hue City) to pray for national peace and prosperity, favorable weather, bountiful harvests, and prosperous lives for the people.

The “Hue - Mega Booming” music festival will take place at Ngo Mon Square - Hue Imperial Citadel over two nights, April 5th - 6th, 2025 (coinciding with the Hung Kings’ Commemoration Day). The event will feature many young singers, with a special highlight being the appearance of the “Anh Trai Say Hi” (Say Hi with Bros) lineup - a well-known reality TV show about music.

In the early days of spring, Ngo Thanh Minh, a photography artist, was engrossed in wandering the streets of the city, taking photos of yellow apricot blossoms. The beauty of the land and people of Hue has long been an endless source of creative inspiration for him - an artist who has a “predestined affinity” with major awards.

Hue City these days is becoming more bustling with the atmosphere of the upcoming Tet holiday (the Lunar New Year of the Snake). Flowers and ornamental plants have been brought to decorate the city's parks. The entire city is vibrant with flowers, and people are out taking “check-in” photos.

On January 20, the University of Education, Hue University, organized a program themed “Spring Connecting - Tet Sharing”, taking students to return home to celebrate At Ty Lunar new year - 2025.
