On the morning of December 15th, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City organized activities to celebrate Christmas 2024, toward the 80th Anniversary of the Founding of the Vietnam People’s Army and the 35th Anniversary of the All-People's National Defense Festival.

On December 11, representatives of the provincial Department of Culture and Sports informed that the Minister of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism announced the decision to include the Hue Nam Temple Festival (Huong Tho Commune, Hue City) and Van Cu noodle-making craft (Huong Toan Commune, Huong Tra Town) in the list of National Intangible Cultural Heritage.

KinoFest, the German Film Festival is an annual film festival organized by Goethe Institute in Southeast Asia for contemporary German cinema. This year, the film festival will be held in Hue from October 26 to 27 at Lan Vien Co Tich cultural space (No. 94 - 96 - 98 Bach Dang, Hue City).

The performance “Thien dia giao hoa” (Harmony of Heaven and Earth) and the orchestral and dance performance "Anh duong" (Sunlight) have won silver medals at the second phase of the 2024 National music and dance Festival, held in Binh Duong province.
