Notably, Thuan An Port Border Gate Station, Chan May Port Border Gate Station, Hong Van Border Gate Station, and Quang Nham Border Guard Station together presented nearly 2.000 Mid-Autumn Festival gift sets and presented support packages for disadvantaged students, with a total value of nearly 200 million VND.
“Borderland - Mid-Autumn Festival Night is a healthy and meaningful playground for children in border areas during Mid-Autumn Festival; it encourages them to study hard, cultivate and strive to become good children, good students, and exemplary young members of Uncle Ho’s generation. It also strengthens military-civilian solidarity and reflects the care of the Party, State, Army, and Border Guard for children in border areas,” said Colonel Dang Ngoc Hieu, Political Commissar of the City Border Guard.
