The Department of Science and Technology, in collaboration with the Department of Education and Training, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Hue City, the Thieu Nien Tien Phong & Nhi Dong Newspaper in Hue, and Hue City Post Office, launched the 55th UPU International Letter-Writing Competition in 2026 for students aged 9 to 15.

On the morning of January 17, Tuoi Tre Newspaper, in collaboration with the Department of Higher Education (Ministry of Education and Training), the Department of Education and Training of Hue City, Hue University, and Hue City Youth Union jointly organized the 2026 Admissions and Career Counseling Program at Hue City Youth Activity Center.

On December 28, Hue City Youth Union organized the “Youth entrepreneurship and digital transformation” Festival 2025 at Aeon Mall Hue Shopping Center (An Cuu Ward).

On the morning of December 5, Hue City Union of Science and Technology Associations, in coordination with Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and Hue University, organized a forum themed “Promoting Hue’s Young Intellectuals to Thrive in Global Integration”.

On the evening of November 21, the city’s Union of Science and Technology Associations, in coordination with the Department of Science & Technology, Hue University, the Labor Federation, Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, and other related units, organized the closing ceremony and award presentation for the 15th Hue City Technical Innovation Contest 2025.

On the morning of November 18th, a working delegation from the Central Youth Union, led by Mr. Bui Quang Huy, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, and First Secretary of the Central Youth Union, visited Hue City to congratulate Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (November 20th) and to give gifts to children and youth affected by the flood in Hue City.

Immediately following the call of the City People's Committee, on the morning of November 9, a large number of residents, cadres, civil servants, public employees, various associations, unions, armed forces, Youth Union members, and Hue Urban Environment and Public Works Joint Stock Company, etc., simultaneously launched an environmental cleanup campaign across all communes and wards in the city.

On the afternoon of October 11, the University of Sciences, Hue University, in collaboration with the Department of Science and Technology and Hue City Youth Union, organized the 2025 HUSC Robocon Competition.

On the evening of October 11th, Hue City Youth Union held a ceremony to honor recipients of the “Student with 5 Good Criteria”, “Student with 3 Good Criteria”, “Student with 3 Good Training Criteria” titles, and the “January Star” Award for 2025 at Hue FPT Education Complex in Thanh Thuy Ward.

On October 5, Tuoi Tre Newspaper, in coordination with Hue City Youth Union, organized the “Supporting students to school” scholarship awarding ceremony with the theme “One aspiration - Ten thousand hearts” for 89 new students in Hue City who face difficult circumstances with strong determination.
