Along with nearly 76,5 million voters nationwide, close to one million voters in Hue City have just joyfully taken part in the Election Day on March 15th, 2026, achieving an outstanding result: 99,99% voter turnout in the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term. During his lifetime, Ung Binh Thuc Gia Thi (1877 - 1961) was a renowned poet from Hue, leaving behind a legacy of nearly 2,000 poems in both Vietnamese and Chinese characters. He was also celebrated as a highly skilled composer of traditional Hue Tuong.
