On the evening of September 21, Hue City Young Entrepreneurs Association, in coordination with Kim Dong Park, and the Youth Union Chapter of the Faculty of Marketing and Commerce, University of Economics, Hue University, organized a Mid-Autumn Festival program themed ‘Enjoying Mid-Autumn Festival’ for children facing difficult circumstances in the city.

These days, the festive atmosphere of the Mid-Autumn Festival is already filling the streets. From the skillful hands of craftsmen diligently working on unicorn heads, Earth God masks, and drums… to spectacular unicorn dance performances on competition stages and in welcoming spaces at the Imperial Citadel,… all come together to create a vibrant picture of the Mid-Autumn in the Ancient Capital, preserving the unique cultural beauty and leaving lasting impressions on visitors.

Vibrantly colored paper fish lanterns, toys that evoke Mid-Autumn Festivals of the past, have become an engaging experience for both adults and children. By making the lanterns with their own hands, participants find another way to reconnect with childhood memories and take home the special Mid-Autumn gifts they have created themselves.

On the morning of September 20th, Hue City Federation of Labor organized a program to provide support for disadvantaged union members, workers and children of union members at the beginning of the 2026-2027 school year, combined with Mid-Autumn Festival activities for the children. Attending the program was Mr. Nguyen Chi Tai, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City.

The 2026 Hue Unicorn Dance Festival officially opened on the morning of September 20 at the Sports Hall at 100 Pham Van Dong St. The event is part of the Autumn Festival activities under the Hue Festival 2026 program and is jointly organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Phu Xuan Ward People’s Committee.

According to the information released on the morning of August 26 by the People’s Committee of Dan Dien Commune, the locality provided financial support worth over VND 1.4 billion for locals to purchase 8 straw balers to facilitate the collection of crop residues during the 2026 summer-autumn rice harvest.

As summer draws to a close, with the sun becoming less intense and the gentle signs of autumn beginning to appear, rice fields across Hue are turning golden. The golden season is coming; it not only brings brighter smiles to farmers' faces but also adds a simple, rustic beauty to the countryside.

On August 15, Vietravel Hue officially launched its 2026 Autumn Promotion Programme under the theme ‘Set off for the golden season - Welcome a thousand good things’.

It is not even the end of the sixth lunar month, but I have already heard elderly men in my neighborhood enthusiastically asking one another how the upcoming Autumn offering ceremony will be organized at the village communal house, and whether the heads of the clans have made plans to meet yet. It may seem strange that amid the bustle of city life, these elderly men are passionately talking about village affairs. The village communal house is not far away either, just a few dozen meters from my house. “The city also began with villages. Preserving the roots of the village means preserving its culture for future generations. You young people should remember that,” they would tell me whenever I asked.

This is a rare mangrove forest that still exists on the Tam Giang lagoon system - the largest lagoon system in Southeast Asia.

Located around 15km away from Hue City Center, Ru Cha mangrove forest is one of the destinations attracting a great number of locals and tourists coming to check-in whenever it comes to Autumn season.
