Renowned as an ancient heritage city, Hue has emerged as a popular destination for both domestic and international filmmakers. Every architectural structure, scenic spot, or landmark in Hue can serve as a backdrop for different genres of films, ranging from feature to short ones. This has more or less contributed to establishing a brand, significantly boosting local tourism.

For Nguyen Hung, a teacher and artist, the folk culture of the land of Hue ancient capital has forged in him a unified and unique artistic language. With his quiet passion for creation, he has guided many generations of students to achieve brilliant success through 35 years as an art teacher in public schools and art training classes.

During the days of changing seasons to autumn, students from the land of cherry blossoms had the opportunity to set foot in Hue. Here, they had interesting cultural experiences in the ancient capital with Vietnamese friends.

The collection of essays and notes "Truoc nha co cay hoang mai: Nhung ghi chep ve Hue - xu so phong reu kieu sa" after more than 8 years appearing in the literary world has now been reprinted, with additions and revisions. More notably, in this reprint, there is also an English edition “Yellow Apricot tree in the front yard: Fascinating stories about Hue - an ancient, poetic and glamorous land”.

A group of artists from many places have been in love with Hue so much that they have painted art works about the land known as "the beauty of Hue can be found nowhere else" as a keepsake of their memories of the Ancient Capital.

The tomb of Emperor Thieu Tri (Cu Chanh village, Thuy Bang commune, Hue City) known as Xuong Lang, is a majestic tomb complex with beautiful landscapes in Hue Ancient Capital. Over time, the structure has suffered significant damage.

“We love Hue and admire everything related to the Ancient Capital, from its culture, landscapes, nature, people, to its cuisine,” shared the photographers after participating in the inaugural Hue International Photography Festival 2023.

Although Hue is a land known for its numerous national-scale libraries and archives, the work of Tang Tho Lau (or Tang Thu Lau - Archive Pavilion) - also known as Lau Tang Tho (or Tang Thu), is still considered a rare “Treasure of the Ancients” of the monarchy period that has been remarkably preserved.

Located 5 kilometers away from the center of Hue City to the North, Duc Buu village (Huong So Ward, Hue City) specializes in producing famous specialty dumplings of the ancient capital land, including: banh beo, banh loc goi (the Vietnamese clear shrimp and pork dumpling wrapped in banana leaf), banh nam, and banh ram it, etc.
