A wide range of rare artifacts crafted from jade and ivory are on display at the exhibition “Jade - Ivory in religious art”, organized by the Museum of Nguyen Dynasty Commissioned Porcelains (114 Mai Thuc Loan, Phu Xuan Ward), which opened on the morning of August 28.

The communal house faces a field, so in this season of the year it’s pervaded by the aroma of ripe rice. I’m standing at the gate of the Van Xa communal house (Huong Van Ward, Huong Tra Town) beholding the yellow paddy field admiring our ancestors who chose this place for the house. Within the framework of Hue Traditional Craft Festival 2023, the Japanese ceramic exhibition “Yakishime - Shape of the Earth” offers visitors a unique perspective on the craft of the land of Fusang. The exhibition is held by the Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam in collaboration with Hue Museum of Fine Arts. The exhibition is opened from April 27th to May 14th at the Diem Phung Thi Art Center.
