Hue sets record for heritage site ticket sales on May 1st

On the evening of May 1st, the People’s Committee of Hue City announced that, on the same day, the city’s heritage site system recorded the highest-ever number of visitors and ticket revenue in a single day. On July 30th, Hue City Department of Culture and Sports announced that Hue City People’s Committee has issued an official document approving the continuing of archaeological excavation of the remaining area approximately 200 square meters at Lieu Coc Twin Towers site (Kim Tra Ward, Hue City). The goal is to gain a comprehensive and complete understanding of the Lieu Coc temple-tower complex.

On the afternoon of July 30, Hue City Military Command announced that it is coordinating with the Zone 1 Construction Investment Project Management Board to review procedures and clear the site to dismantle military blockhouses located on the Thuong Thanh (the Rampart Upper-surface) relic and inside Hue Imperial Citadel.
