On the morning of June 2, the People's Committee of Phong Phu Ward, in collaboration with SCAVI Hue Company, organized the SCAVI Hue Job Fair 2026 under the theme “Connecting opportunities - Shaping the future”.

On the morning of May 31st, Hue City Youth and Children Center organized the opening ceremony for its 2026 summer activities program and Hue City Children’s Festival.

On May 31 (the 15th day of the fourth lunar month), the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) in Hue City solemnly held the Grand Vesak Celebration, Buddhist Calendar 2570 at the Executive Board’s headquarters - Tu Dam Pagoda (Thuan Hoa Ward), in the joyful presence of thousands of monks, nuns, Buddhists, and people from near and far.

As part of the 1st Festival of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Ethnic Groups in Mountainous Areas, on the morning of May 30, the Highland Culinary Festival and Traditional Cooking Contest officially launched at A Luoi 2 Commune Market.

On the evening of May 30, the University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University, held the final round of the 7th Science Innovation and Agricultural Startup Idea Competition 2026, drawing the participation of lecturers, students, scientists, and business representatives.

As part of the celebrations for Vesak 2570 (Buddhist Era) and Hue Festival 2026, the Vegetarian Food Festival - Hue Festival 2026 officially opened on the afternoon of May 28th (the 12th day of the fourth lunar month) at the riverside area along the Perfume River. The event is jointly organized by the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Hue City and the Organizing Committee of Hue Festival 2026.

From the evening of May 29 to May 31, 2026, the first “Cultural, Sports and Tourism Festival of mountainous ethnic groups” is being held in the communes, namely A Luoi 1, A Luoi 2, and A Luoi 3.
