Hue’s cyclos
TTH.VN - Amid the bustling rhythm of urban life, I love taking a long pause to enjoy the slow and steady pedaling of Hue’s cyclo drivers. There, although I deeply sympathize with the hard work of these men, who are the breadwinners of their families, in turn, it also reminds me of the strangely peaceful feeling of Hue.
Perhaps, throughout the country, many tourists have considered Hue’s cyclos as a “specialty” that they have to experience at least once when choosing this Ancient Capital as their travel destination. All tourists need to do is choosing cyclos as their leisure means of transport to explore the city, everything else is left to the drivers. Just like that, visitors can gently enjoy the beauty of Hue through its ancient gates, as well as contemplate the poetic Huong River when across Truong Tien Bridge and Phu Xuan Bridge; and pass along shady roads, etc.
This time, Hue Today weekly would like to introduce to readers a series of photos taken of Hue’s cyclos by Hoang Phuoc, a photographer, offering another time to take pride that Hue’s cyclos not only contribute to describing a friendly and hospitable Hue City but also is a part of the gentle culture in Hue lifestyle from the past up to now.
