Specifically, Thua Thien Hue Provincial People's Committee is the level of making investment decision, directly approving and guiding the professional agencies to organize the implementation of works of investment preparation, investment implementation and inspectation of final settlement of Hai Van Gate's preservation and promotion project in accordance with current regulations and project documents agreed between the two parties.

About the investment capital for the project, the budget of Thua Thien Hue province incurs 50% and that of Da Nang city covers 50% of the total approved investment. The time to implement and complete is from 2019-2020, divided into two phases, from approval to February 2020 and the second phase from February 2020 to the end.

In addition, Thua Thien Hue Provincial People's Committee coordinates with Da Nang City People's Committee to direct the culture and sports sectors, together with the related units of the two localities to develop plans, management and maintenance mechanisms to promote its values ​​and exploit tourism services of the monument, ensure the common interests between the two localities.

Hai Van Gate is located on Hai Van mountain in the administrative boundary of Lang Co town (Phu Loc district, Thua Thien Hue province) and Hoa Hiep Bac ward (Lien Chieu district, Da Nang city).

On April 14, 2017, Hai Van Gate was ranked by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism as a National historical monument and art architecture. It is currently an attractive tourist destination of visitors coming to the two localities mentioned above.
