Assessing the services to photography of cultural luminary Dang Huy Tru

HNN.VN - On March 11, the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists; the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibitions; the Vietnamese Đặng family; and the provincial Union of Literature and Arts Associations coordinated to hold a scientific conference on the cultural luminary Dang Huy Tru with the theme “Dang Huy Tru – The father of Vietnam photography.”

The presentations at the conference focused on assessing the life and achievements of the luminary Dang Huy Tru to clarify his active and meaningful contributions in many fields in a historical period of the country. As a result, Dang Huy Tru is recognized as the father of Vietnam photography. The conference also had discussions on modern photography, active contributions as well as realities and solutions.
