The quintessence of Vietnamese traditional crafts gathers in Hue

HNN.VN - The art space to honor artisans and craft villages gathering in Hue just opened on the afternoon of April 26 at Nguyen Dinh Chieu walking street and Tu Tuong park, by the Huong River.

Two foreign tourists are excited at the products displayed in the art space honoring craft village

The event is in the chain of activities of Hue Traditional Craft Festival 2019 with the theme “The quintessence of Vietnamese traditional crafts”. This is the main space of Hue Traditional Craft Festival this year with the participation of 350 artisans, in which most of them are folk artisans and meritorious artisans from 61 famous craft villages, traditional craft establishments around the country.

The event includes craft villages such as jewelry village, embroidery village, as well as that of phap lam (painted enamel), copper casting, handicraft products, truc chi, Zèng weaving, pottery, and bamboo and rattan, etc., from Ha Noi, Dong Thap, Lam Dong, Ha Giang, Hoa Binh, Ninh Thuan, Hung Yen and Hue.

Each craft village is arranged a separate wooden house built in ancient architecture style of Hue. In this space, the artisans directly perform the processes of making handicraft products that give pleasure to tourists, especially foreign tourists.
