Stocking over 100 thousand breeding black tiger shrimps and 2 thousand crabs into the sea

Accordingly, the Provincial Department of Fisheries and the local authority released more than 100 thousand breeding black tiger shrimps and two thousand breeding crabs to Da Dam-Da Mieu aquatic protected area in Loc Dien Commune (Phu Loc), with the aims to supply the quantity of breeding aquatic species, create the conditions for aquatic species to grow, reproduce, and develop to balance the affected ecological environment.

The activity of regenerating aquatic resources also sent a message to the whole fishermen to join hands to propagate and protect the local aquatic resources. This is the third time of regenerating aquatic resources within the activities responding to the Vietnam Sea and Island Week 2019 and the World Oceans Day 2019.

Every year, the Provincial Department of Fisheries has many times launched the release of fish, shrimps, crabs, and aquatic species into the water bodies, so as to attract the participation of organizations, communities and societies, which are responsible for the protection of aquatic resources in general, and aquatic environment in particular.

On average, the province regenerates aquatic resources with nearly 200 thousand breeding aquatic species annually; in which the State budget supports about 130 thousand, and the socialized budget from enterprises, organizations, and fishermen community supports about 70 thousand.
