Spreading love for the sea and islands from the journey of Hue’s youth

HNN.VN - During 2 days, including September 6 and 7, Hue Youth Union held a program called the Journey of “Hue’s youth with homeland’s sea and islands” in 2025 in Quang Tri Province.

In the framework of the journey, the delegation offered flowers and incense at the historical site of Quang Tri Citadel and Con Co Special Zone Memorial. At the same time, they also held the flag-raising ceremony titled “I love My Fatherland” at Con Co Flagpole and visited locations with special significance at Con Co Special Zone.

The delegation also held a program to present social welfare gifts at Con Co Special Zone, including the youth construction called “Pride in the National Flag”, the project “Youth Flower Road” to fishermen and local authorities, as well as 23 scholarships and other gifts to disadvantaged students, and 20 sets of solar-powered lighting equipment to Radar Station 540.

According to the representative of Hue Youth Union, this activity aimed at contributing to encouraging and educating the younger generation about patriotism and love for the sea and islands; at the same time, evoking love and raising awareness and the sense of responsibility among the youth in protecting maritime sovereignty, contributing to the work of social-economic development, and safeguarding the nation’s defense and security.
