The CONSTELLATION® Vision System – Alcon integrates cutting-edge technologies such as a dual cutter with speeds of up to 10,000 cuts per second, an automatic intraocular pressure control mechanism, a high-power cold light illumination system, an endolaser photocoagulation module, and a built-in Phaco machine. Therefore, this system allows vitreoretinal surgeries to be performed with exceptional precision, ensuring maximum safety and shortening recovery time for patients.
According to specialists at the Eye Center, “The CONSTELLATION® system not only optimizes the effectiveness of complex surgeries such as retinal detachment, vitreous hemorrhage, macular holes, epiretinal membranes, and diabetic retinopathy, but also effectively handles cases involving intraocular foreign bodies or those requiring combined vitrectomy with phacoemulsification, gas or silicone oil tamponade.”
