Over 200 athletes compete in the expanded Traditional Martial Arts Championship for Children and Youth in Hue City

HNN.VN - On the morning of August 23, the City’s Youth Center organized the First Expanded Traditional Martial Arts Championship for Children and Youth in Hue City, 2025.

This championship attracted 215 athletes, 30 masters, and coaches from 16 traditional martial arts clubs in the city. The athletes competed for 52 sets of medals across various events.

In the competition, 35 sets of medals were awarded for combat events, covering 5 age groups from 8 to 17. Additionally, 17 sets of medals were awarded for forms competitions, covering 4 age groups from 6 to 17.

A representative of Hue City Youth Center stated that the championship was held to contribute to the development of traditional martial arts training and competition in the city. It helps athletes in the youth age group improve their skills and competitive mindset. At the same time, it provided a healthy and valuable playground for the younger generation to interact, learn from experience, and identify talented athletes for further training and development.
