Nearly 1.000 kids participate in the opening of summer activities 2026

Children perform a variety of impressive artistic acts at the summer activities opening ceremony

Held at Quoc Hoc Stele Square, the program attracted nearly 1.000 students from primary and secondary schools, along with a large number of children and young people from across the city.

Under the theme “Children Today - The World Tomorrow”, the event featured a wide range of educational, cultural, artistic, and experiential activities, including the mass performance “Singing Loudly in the New Era”, the painting contest “Colors of the Ancient Capital”, exhibition showcasing models of activities of talent-development classes and of clubs affiliated with the center, in addition to the “Summer Talents 2026” enrollment counseling program. There were also a variety of attractive exhibitions, experiences, and recreational spaces, such as “Colors of Childhood”, STEM activities, “Healthy and Active Children Every Day”, “Creative Summer - Discover Your Passion”, the performance stage “Shining Talents - Connecting Passions”, and the final round of the “Dance of Childhood” festival.

According to Hue City Youth and Children Center, the program was organized in response to the 2026 Action Month for Children and to provide a meaningful summer environment. Through experiential activities, exchanges, and group participation, the program creates opportunities for children to enjoy their summer, develop talents, strengthen life skills, and enhance their sense of teamwork, confidence, and creativity. It also helps foster love for their hometown and pride in the traditional cultural values of the Ancient Capital.
