Kicking off program of supporting Thua Thien Hue citizens in the South where Directive No.16 is applied

The process and instructions to register for receiving support

To share and support Thua Thien Hue citizens living in Ho Chi Minh City and other southern cities and provinces (applying the Directive No.16) systematically facing difficulties and losing jobs due to the impacts of the pandemic, Thua Thien Hue province held a program of connecting for support with the method of establishing relations between the ward and commune authorities and the citizens facing difficult circumstances in the area with pandemic through families or relatives at home.

Following is how it should be done:

Online registration: Accessing Hue-S; clicking ANTI-PANDEMIC and select the function REGISTER FOR SUPPORT – Installing Hue-S app., at http://huecity.vn

Implementation process:

Step 1: Citizens in southern cities and provinces where the Directive No.16 is applied who are facing difficulties, losing jobs conduct the online registration through Hue-S (can register by other people on behalf).

Step 2: The system will transfer the citizens’ registration information to the wards and communes of Thua Thien Hue – where the families and relatives of those citizens who need support are living so that local authorities can make the confirmation and consideration for giving support.

Step 3: Local authorities in Thua Thien Hue Province carry out the support through families and relatives of those who need help, or transfer cash directly to the people who need support through the registered bank account.

According to the Provincial Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control, the first phase of cash support is expected to be 1.000.000 VND per household. However, depending on the actual pandemic situation, Thua Thien Hue province will consider announcing other rounds of supports. Other forms of support will be deployed depending on the actual situation in each locality.
