The event is not only an opportunity to express gratitude to generations of journalists who have dedicated themselves to the revolutionary cause and the development of the homeland, but also a moment to reflect on the proud journey of innovation, integration, and development of a press agency deeply imbued with Hue's identity.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Ha Van Tuan, Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Council; leaders of departments, agencies, and sectors; along with a large number of officials, reporters, editors, and staff of Hue Today Newspaper from various periods.
In his speech recalling the tradition, Mr. Truong Dien Thong, Deputy Editor-in-Chief in charge of Hue Today Newspaper, affirmed: “100 years of formation and development of Vietnamese revolutionary press is also a continuous flow of revolutionary ideals, a source that fosters patriotism, reflects the thoughts, aspirations, and accompanies the People. For Hue Today Newspaper specifically, its development journey through various stages is a vivid proof to a local newspaper that has innovated and kept the flame of journalistic passion alive.”
Hue Today Newspaper has continuously grown, becoming a prestigious press agency, gradually transforming itself towards modernity and multi-platform integration.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Dinh Khac An, former Editor-in-Chief in charge of Thua Thien Hue Newspaper (the predecessor of Hue Today Newspaper), expressed: “I feel proud to have worked and been associated with Thua Thien Hue Newspaper. Over the years, I have been truly impressed and highly appreciate the strong advancements of the newsroom, especially in digital transformation, multi-platform development, and continuous improvement of content quality. The newspaper has maintained its role as a reliable voice of the Party Committee, government, and People of Hue City, while also asserting its own mark among local newspapers. I hope that in the coming time, the leadership, reporters, and editors of the newspaper will continue to promote the tradition, keep the flame of professional passion alive, and constantly innovate to be worthy the city's key press agency.”
Mr. Hoang Dang Khoa, Editor-in-Chief in charge of Hue Today Newspaper, on behalf of the newspaper's staff, extended his deep gratitude to the leaders of the city, departments, agencies, esteemed organizations, partners, collaborators, and readers who have always accompanied, trusted, and supported the newspaper throughout the past period.
