Green transport - Development trend of Thua Thien Hue Province
HNN.VN - This is the topic of an international forum, which was organized by Thua Thien Hue Institute for Development Studies (HueIDS) in collaboration with SMC Hue Co., Ltd and the Bespin Global on the morning of December 16 within the framework of the forum themed "Hue Innovation Day" in 2022.

Under the green development orientation, Thua Thien Hue Province has been implementing many action programs to promote green transport development.
The province has cooperated with UNDP and ADB to promote green development, including green transport; and actively connected with stakeholders to implement public transport projects in the direction of green transport and converting to electric vehicles. Currently, Hue is piloting programs of bicycle and using electric vehicles to serve sightseeing activities of monuments, etc.
With the participation of domestic and international experts, the forum discussed issues related to green growth transformation in the transportation sector; and promote the sustainable transformation to electric transport. The forum also shared models and policies to promote green transport worldwide, in order to contribute to the development journey of Thua Thien Hue Province towards sustainability and green growth...
