Giving 500 Tet gifts to union members and employees

In the framework of the program, the Provincial Labor Confederation gave 500 Tet gifts to employees, including 200 gifts worth 1.3 million VND per portion to union members and employees with special difficult circumstance. The remaining 300 gifts were given to union members with difficult circumstances, which costed 500.000 VND per portion.

The program also had Labor Union Tet Market selling discounted goods and giving gifts free to union members. The products on sale at the Labor Union Tet Market were products served at Tet including jams, cakes, candies, milk, rice, sticky rice, fish sauce, cooking oil, orchids, Thanh Tien paper flowers, clothes, etc. All products were discounted from 10% to 40% compared to the market price.

On this occasion, the Provincial Labor Confederation also gave 280 million VND to support the construction and repair of 10 Union Houses for union member and employees.

This was the first series of activities under the program of Tet of Reunion - Spring of Unity in 2023 of the Provincial Labor Confederation. After this program, the labor union at all levels would hold the ceremonies to give gifts and organize Tet Market at their grassroots; at the same time, leaders of the Provincial Labor Confederation would carry out the program to visit and give New Year greetings to employees and businesses.

On this occasion, the Labor Confederation of Hue City also held the Festival “A thousand Tet Gifts, the Love Connection” to take care of union members and workers.

Addressing at the program, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Phan Ngoc Tho highly appreciated the effort of the Provincial Labor Confederation in the work of taking care of the Tet holiday for union members and employees, giving those with difficult circumstances the motivation to rise up in life then prepare a delightful and happy Tet holiday for their families.
