Inaugurating “the National Flag Road” at Uncle Ho’s Memorial House

HNN.VN - On the afternoon of September 5, Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper coordinated with the Provincial Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union held the inauguration ceremony of the “National Flag Road” on the way to Uncle Ho’s Memorial House in Duong No village, Phu Duong Commune (Hue City).

Central and local leaders inaugurating the work “National Flag Road” 

Attending the ceremony was Mr. Truong Hoa Binh – Former Politburo member, former Permanent Deputy Prime Minister, and Honorary Chairman of the program "Pride of the Fatherland Flag".

The construction “National Flag Road” is nearly 1km long on the route to Uncle Ho’s Memorial House. This is a meaningful activity, expressing patriotism, and national pride; thereby, contributing to the traditional promotion and education, equipping the young generation with new knowledge and national pride.

On this occasion, Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper also presented 5,000 national flags to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union to carry out the project of 7 National Flag Roads in the provincial area.

Over time, Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper has implemented the project “Proud of the Fatherland Flag” with 3 components including “Million national flags with fishermen clinging to the Sea”, “The Flag of the Fatherland and Border”, and “National Flag Road”. Up to now, nearly 1.9 million flags have been given and signed to be given nationwide. In Thua Thien Hue, after many times of flags being given, the program “Proud of the Fatherland Flag” has given 35.000 national flags to the Party Committee, the local authorities, and the people.
