This year’s competition brought together 15 teams from 12 high schools, in which 11 schools from Hue City and 1 from Quang Tri Province. This demonstration showcased the strong influence and widespread reach of the science and technology innovation movement among students in the Central region.

This competition was held to create a creative and useful playground for high school students who are passionate about science, technology, and engineering. Furthermore, it also aimed to inspire their enthusiasm for research and the application of artificial intelligence and robotics in learning and daily life.

By participating in the competition, students had the opportunity to develop creative thinking, teamwork skills, and apply their knowledge in practice, especially nurturing their passion for exploring science and technology in the digital age.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Thanh Tung, Rector of the University of Sciences, Hue University, emphasized that although the 2025 HUSC Robocon Competition is held for the first time, it has attracted 15 teams from 12 high schools in Hue City and Quang Tri Province after just over 4 months of implementation.

Throughout the journey from June to October 2025, the organizers devoted their full dedication to accompanying the participating teams. Their preparation went beyond providing technical support for the robots; it also included in-depth training and mentoring sessions to equip the students with the best possible foundation. This thoughtful support served as a solid springboard, enabling the students to fully unleash their potential in the competition.

At the live competition held at the University of Sciences, Hue University, the teams took on the challenge of programming autonomous robots. Using HUSC’s multifunctional robot education kits, students creatively designed and customized their robot models to tackle complex tasks on a large-scale rough model. These tasks included programming the robots to follow black lines, transporting blocks, and navigating various terrains and obstacles to deliver items into designated zones with optimal precision.
