1 pig-tailed macaque handed over to Bach Ma National Park

HNN.VN - According to information from Thuy Xuan Ward People's Committee, on October 24, in the Medicinal garden area - Cu Chanh 2 Residential group, the locals discovered and captured 1 stray pig-tailed macaque.

Immediately upon receiving the information, Thuy Xuan Ward People's Committee directed specialized forces to coordinate with the Central Forest Protection Department to go to the scene to receive and check the health status of the individual macaque. Simultaneously, they transported and handed it over to the Rescue, Conservation and Development of organisms Center, Bach Ma National Park for care and release back into the natural environment in accordance with regulations.

The timely and responsible action of the people and the coordination of the functional forces contribute to the protection of wild animals, the preservation of biodiversity, and the natural ecological environment within the ward.
