Tourists eager to see the royal dance on the second day of Tet

HNN.VN - On second morning of Tet (January 26), the courtyard in front of Thai Hoa Palace in the Inner Citadel, where the "Royal Sound" program took place, was bustling with music, lyrics and endless applause from the local people and visitors.

Under the drizzling spring rain, the courtyard in front of Thai Hoa palace was full.  Although crowded, everyone kept order to enjoy the lyrics, music and dances which were previously reserved for the royal court.

Ms. Pham Thi Thuy, a tourist from Da Nang, said: “Although not everyone understands the ancient lyrics, but from the movements, eyes, smiles and crisp, cheerful sounds in a place full of spring colors, the actors and performers have helped visitors to understand more about the unique culture and art of the ancient capital ”.
