“Cõi đi về” (“A Place for Leaving and Returning") - a book written by Prof. Dr. Thai Kim Lan and published by Labour Publishing House in 2023, has just been launched at the “Intercultural Meeting Point”, a new cultural meeting place that she’s just established recently.

The book is a collection of articles by Prof. Dr. Thai Kim Lan, a Hue-born lady with a long time studying and working in Germany. The book is divided into 5 main parts: Cultural stories, authors and works, nature and people, the practice of the Hue lifestyle, and the appendix.

Through the articles, Prof. Dr. Thai Kim Lan’s critical thinking about philosophy, Buddhism, popular culture, and especially the Hue lifestyle are clearly shown. Also, readers can follow the author's emotional flow to be immersed in familiar yet strange spaces, meet with historical witnesses, and feel the subtle characteristics of the various lands.
