Phu Xuan District Cultural and Sports Festival in celebration of March 8

HNN.VN - On the afternoon of March 3, the Women’s Union in collaboration with the Phu Xuan District Labor Federation of Hue City held the Cultural and Sports Festival. The program attracted over 300 female cadres, union’s members, officers, and workers.

 Various performances and sports activities make the festival’s atmosphere become lively

This activity was held to promote the movements “Hue Women in the New Era”, “Women in the work of preserving and promoting traditional cultural values, contributing to building a Civilized, Friendly, Safe, and Culturally Rich Phu Xuan District”. At the same time, it encouraged and mobilized female cadres, union members, and women in the district area to actively and well implement the movement of “The entire population exercising following the role model of the Great Uncle Ho”.

The festival took place with a series of vibrant and meaningful activities, including an ensemble ao dai performance with the theme The Country in Spring, with the participation of nearly female union’s members from the ensemble clubs in the district area; as well as a show featuring Vietnamese Traditional Costume in modern life, aiming to spread Vietnam’s traditional beauty, and other sports activities with various attractive games

The festival, with various activities, was a healthy playground for cadres, union member, and women in the district to exchange and learn from each other, at the same time expressing unity, connection, and mutual support, contributing to enhancing cultural and spiritual life of female cadres, and union members.
