Spring Festival 2020 is held from January 21-29 (i.e., December 27 to January 5 of the Lunar New Year). Accordingly, this year, there will be cultural and artistic activities on the stage of Quoc Hoc Stele on New Year's Eve, especially the Art Program on New Year’s Eve; Thuong Bac Park will be the venue for folk games, cultural activities and traditional sports.

Activities at the Spring Festival this year are held in the space along the poetic Huong River, creating a unique feature with many beautiful flowers from all parts of the country. The flowers are arranged and designed to suit the landscape of the Huong River and parks.

In addition, the Spring Festival also offers space to display more than a thousand works of arts which include various flower displays, miniature landscapes, viewing stones, calligraphy, wood carvings, bonsai ... These works are exhibited and would enter in a competition. They are from elite artisans from 9 ornamental creatures associations, Dc.uy Xuyen bonsai club and 90 artisans; among them are many local artisans.

To "embellish" more for the spring festival, Hue City held a Spring Flower Market at Phu Van Lau, decorated flowers in parks and major roads of the city. At the same time, the walking path on the north bank of the Huong River is overall completed, creating a new destination for Hue City's people and tourists to enjoy and visit.
