Exhibition “Fine arts and Heritage”

Over 200 artifacts made of gold, silver, and other precious materials, ranging from royal gifts and ritual objects to jewelry and everyday items, … are on display at the thematic exhibition ‘Precious Metal Artifacts under the Nguyen Dynasty - From the Royal Court to Folk Life’, which opened on the morning of September 22.

On September 17, Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Tran Huu Thuy Giang met with Vietnam Railways (VNR) in Hanoi to discuss a proposed steam train service on the Hue - Danang route, which would connect Hue’s tourism sector with destinations across the region.

More than three decades after UNESCO inscribed the Complex of Hue Monuments as a World Cultural Heritage Site (1993), nearly 200 structures and components have been restored, helping turn heritage into a resource for development in the new period.

On the afternoon of September 5, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People’s Committee Le Tri Thanh, along with representatives of relevant departments, agencies, and sectors, held a meeting with delegations from Kyoto Prefecture and Nara Prefecture (Japan) on the occasion of the Vietnam - Japan Local Cooperation Forum 2026 held in Hue.
