In a discussion on the role of books in the life in Hue, Dr. Tran Dinh Hang said that, stretching through the history, Hue people had a traditional fondness for learning and love of reading books. Books contribute to educating people about precept, morality, and self-esteem, etc. That Hue people loves to read books also come from the living environment and circumstances. With the leisurely personality, and preferring to live slowly, reading books is also a way to nurture the soul of Hue people.

In addition, Dr. Tran Dinh Hang also mentioned the role of family bookcases, and the ways to create reading habit for the younger generation, spreading the reading culture in the community. At the same time, he also shared the keys to effective reading based on interest, ability, the needs of work, as well as the skills of note-taking and storing document from books, etc.
