Featuring more than 100 documentary photographs displayed at Hue City History Museum (No. 268 Dien Bien Phu Street, Thuan Hoa Ward), the exhibition introduces the public to the glorious milestones of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the pride in the nation’s revolutionary tradition.

Over the course of 96 years, the Communist Party of Vietnam has demonstrated its mettle, intellect, and leadership capacity in leading the entire army and people in the struggle for independence and freedom, as well as in the cause of national construction and development. Under the Party’s wise leadership, the country has continued to achieve many significant accomplishments, advancing comprehensively across all fields and affirming Vietnam’s increasingly high standing and prestige on the international stage. These achievements are the crystallization of the nation’s intellect, resilience, and spirit of unity, thereby further reinforcing steadfast confidence in the path chosen by the Party and President Ho Chi Minh.

The exhibition opens through the end of February 2026.

Now in its fifth year, Hue has been hosting the Four Seasons Festival (Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter). Instead of concentrating activities within a few peak days as in the past, the Hue Four Seasons Festival is implemented under a new model, featuring a continuous series of cultural, artistic and tourism events throughout the year to honor heritage, promote tourism and create new experiences for visitors.

“Once I happened to hear about my old native land…”

In 2000, in the short piece entitled “Hue Diary,” written when he returned for the first Hue Festival, musician Trinh Cong Son wrote, “When you have a place to return, or to visit from time to time, you are very fortunate. There, you have a river, a mountain, and you can find again your old friends whose hair used to be black has now turned grey. You might suddenly meet a Hue girl on the street and ask her, ‘Is there anything new in Hue now?’ And immediately, or perhaps by chance, she will recite the two lines from a poem by Bui Giang: “Da thua xu Hue bay gio/ Van con nui Ngu ben bo song Huong” (“Yes, sir, Hue now/ Still has Ngu Mount by the Huong river…”)
