Leaders of the City People’s Committee conduct inspections of key projects in the area

HNN.VN - On the morning of January 14, Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Khac Toan, together with Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee Hoang Hai Minh, and a delegation inspected the operations and business performance of several major corporations, factories, and projects in the area.

As scheduled, the delegation visited the 4F organic and circular ecological agriculture in Phong Dien Ward, operated by Que Lam Group Joint Stock Company. At the same time, they also toured the areas for organic agriculture production, livestock farming facilities, processing and storage units, as well as its research center for nutrition, crop and animal protection, and human resources training.

During this trip, Chairman Nguyen Khac Toan highly appreciated the model of organic and circular ecological agriculture which is under operation by Que Lam Group. He expressed his hope that in the coming time, Que Lam Group will continue to scale up effectively production-linked models that integrate livestock farming with crop cultivation along the value chain. Such efforts will contribute to reducing environmental pollution, improving residents’ income, and raising their awareness, aligning with the city’s orientation of developing organic agriculture and circular economy in the period of 2024-2030.

The delegation, then, visited and had an official meeting with Scavi Hue Company; Kangloda Hue Factory Project of Kangloda Vietnam Protective Technology Co., Ltd, and the project of Dat Phuong ultra-clear patterned glass manufacturing plant, operated by Dat Phuong Glass Joint Stock Company.

At each site visited, Chairman Nguyen Khac Toan acknowledged and highly commended the businesses’ efforts in production and business operations, their role in creating stable employment, and their positive contributions to local socio-economic development. He also praised their proactive and responsible approach in committing to and implementing the progress of investment projects.

Chairman Nguyen Khac Toan urged businesses to continue enhancing the effectiveness of their production and business operations, focus resources on accelerating construction progress to bring projects into stable operation at an early date, and place greater emphasis on technological innovation and product quality. He also stressed the need to ensure occupational safety, environmental protection, and strict compliance with legal regulations.

On the same morning, Chairman Nguyen Khac Toan and the delegation inspected Phong Dien emergency rescue and relief road project, Phong Dien-Viglacera Industrial Park infrastructure investment and development project of Viglacera Corporation - JSC, as well as several projects currently calling for investment, including Phong Hoa solar power plant and Dien Hoa golf resort complex.

Chairman Nguyen Khac Toan affirmed that the city will continue to accompany and support businesses, promptly addressing difficulties and bottlenecks during investment, production and business operations, and fostering a transparent and favorable investment environment. These efforts will help attract more large-scale and high-tech projects to the locality.
