| The blood donation event attracts over 500 union members and students |
This event is held regularly to foster compassion and promote a stronger sense of community responsibility among Youth Union members and students.
Every year, the University of Education, Hue University, holds two large-scale blood donation events, collecting approximately 1,000 units of blood. Additionally, regular satellite blood donation campaigns are also organized at the Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center of Hue Central Hospital, contributing to ensuring an adequate blood supply for patient treatment.
Under the University’s Youth Union, the Red Drops Club takes the lead in promoting and organizing voluntary blood donation activities. Beyond encouraging Youth Union members and students to donate blood, the club also maintains a living blood bank, ready to support patients in emergencies.
Many club members have donated blood more than 10 times and received certificates of merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, now the Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, in recognition of their contributions to the community.
With the message of sharing love and giving blood to help save lives, the 2026 Voluntary Blood Donation Day collected 500 units of blood for emergency care and medical treatment.
