On the evening of September 21, Hue City Young Entrepreneurs Association, in coordination with Kim Dong Park, and the Youth Union Chapter of the Faculty of Marketing and Commerce, University of Economics, Hue University, organized a Mid-Autumn Festival program themed ‘Enjoying Mid-Autumn Festival’ for children facing difficult circumstances in the city.

On September 21st, Mr. Hoang Hai Minh, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, received a delegation from Waseda University and the University of Tsukuba (Japan). The working session focused on research and implementation of a project on disaster prevention and control, and adaptation to flooding and climate change in the city.

On the morning of September 21, the University of Arts, Hue University, held the opening ceremony for the 2026 - 2027 academic year, welcoming 327 new students, and announcing the decision to award it the Certificate of Institutional Education Accreditation.

On the morning of September 20th, the University of Economics, Hue University held the opening ceremony for the 2026-2030 course and welcomed more than 2,800 freshmen of the 60th cohort (K60). With these new students, the university now has more than 15,000 full-time students.

On September 18, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Hung, Vice Rector of the University of Education, Hue University, received and held a working session with a delegation from the University of Innsbruck (Austria) to discuss directions for cooperation in training, scientific research, and academic exchange.

Amid rapid technological change, entrepreneurship education at universities needs to create an environment where students can develop creative thinking, problem-solving capacity, and the ability to apply knowledge in practice. This was also the focus of discussions among experts, managers, lecturers, and businesses at the workshop ‘Innovation and entrepreneurship in higher education’, organized by Hue University on the afternoon of September 18.

On September 17, Hue University launched a training course for lecturers on teaching innovation and entrepreneurship in 2026.

On September 15th, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, in coordination with Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital, organized the 2026 Resident Doctors’ Day and welcomed 150 new resident doctors from 18 specialties for the 2026-2029 training program. These young doctors are beginning their journey of study, practice and research at the hospital.

Over nearly 70 years of development, Hue University has built a strong foundation in education, scientific research and intellectual talent. Building on this foundation, the university continues to innovate, improve quality and gradually strengthen its position within the national higher education system while advancing international integration.

On September 10th, the University of Law, Hue University organized a training session to share experience in international academic publishing, aiming to enhance lecturers’ scientific research capacity and promote international publication among its teaching staff.
