| Ta Trach reservoir has been regulating water since the morning of October 4 through one deep-discharge gate ahead of heavy rain |
According to the forecast issued by the City’s Hydro-Meteorological Station, heavy to very heavy rain is expected across Hue City from October 7 to 9. Total rainfall over the next 24 - 48 hours is forecast to reach 200 - 400 mm generally, with some areas exceeding 500 mm.
The heavy rain may trigger flash floods, landslides, and rockslides in mountainous areas and along rivers and streams, while posing a high risk of flooding in low-lying areas.
