Regarding activities in partnership with Hue, the Chairman of the City People’s Committee expressed hope that Carlsberg would continue to expand its programs in the cultural and social sectors. As a heritage, cultural, and ecological city, Hue is facing increasingly high demands in heritage conservation, environmental protection, climate change response, and biodiversity conservation. The city therefore hopes the company will develop deeper and longer-term cooperation programs that go beyond sponsoring sports and festival activities.
In particular, Mr. Le Tri Thanh called on Carlsberg to consider becoming a strategic partner and sponsor, and to maintain long-term engagement with Hue’s internationally scaled cultural events, including Hue Festival.
According to Mr. Le Tri Thanh, this partnership should not be limited to sponsorship activities, but should aim to build a sustainable cooperative relationship between an international brand and a heritage city, thereby jointly promoting Hue’s cultural values, image, and appeal.
