| Leaders of Hue University presented flowers to congratulate the launching ceremony of the International Communication major |
Speaking at the event, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Thi Hong Nhung, Rector of HUFLIS, emphasized that the launch of the International Communication major is a strategic step toward completing HUFLIS’s internationally oriented education system. It also reflects efforts to expand academic programs associated with regional studies and global integration, alongside the university’s traditional strengths in foreign language education and teacher training.
The International Communication major at HUFLIS is developed based on the integration of three core pillars: foreign language proficiency, diplomatic thinking, and communication skills. The curriculum aims to equip students not only with the ability to produce communication products but also with the capacity to analyze international contexts, develop communication strategies, and enhance organizational image in a global environment.
The major opens up a wide range of career opportunities in the fields of communication, external affairs, and international cooperation across businesses, government agencies, international organizations, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs). Graduates will be equipped with foreign language proficiency, intercultural thinking, research skills, and strategic communication capability.
