Over nearly 70 years of development, Hue University has built a strong foundation in education, scientific research and intellectual talent. Building on this foundation, the university continues to innovate, improve quality and gradually strengthen its position within the national higher education system while advancing international integration.

On September 10th, the University of Law, Hue University organized a training session to share experience in international academic publishing, aiming to enhance lecturers’ scientific research capacity and promote international publication among its teaching staff.

On the morning of September 8, Hue University, in coordination with the College of Hue, held a reception ceremony for Lao students receiving scholarships from the City People’s Committee to begin their studies at Hue University in the 2026 - 2027 academic year.

On the morning of August 29, the Union of Science and Technology Associations of the city, in coordination with the Department of Health, Hue Central Hospital, and the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, held a national scientific conference themed ‘Climate Change and Non-Communicable Diseases: Issues and Solutions’.

On the afternoon of August 28, the University of Education, Hue University, held a meeting and signing ceremony with the University of Education and the Rencontres du Vietnam Organization on a 2+3 engineer training program.

On the morning of August 21st, Hue Central Hospital, in coordination with Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, opened the 14th Annual Hue Scientific Conference on Cancer Prevention and Control. The conference brought together more than 600 delegates, including over 30 international experts, speakers and lecturers, to exchange professional expertise and provide updates on the latest advances in cancer diagnosis and treatment.

Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital announced on August 17th that, as part of its international cooperation activities, the university had partnered with the US-based Operation International (OI) and DCA to provide free screening and surgery for patients with cleft lip and palate.

On August 15, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, in coordination with Hue University, held a ceremony to award scholarships to students facing difficult circumstances in the city.

From August 10 to 12, a team of staff from the Faculty of Animal Sciences and Veterinary Medicine (University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University) collaborated with a team of doctors from Hue Central Hospital to successfully carry out a series of trials of an automated surgical robotic arm system on an animal model (pigs).

From August 6 to 8, the University of Sciences, Hue University, in coordination with the Vietnam Association of Catalysis and Adsorption, organized the 13th National Scientific Conference under the theme ‘Catalysis and adsorption for the development of national strategic technologies’.
