According to the city’s Tourism Association, starting from May 10th, 2026, direct flights from Minsk, the capital of Belarus, to Da Nang will be launched. Belarusian tourists are known for traveling to multiple countries, having high spending power, and staying for extended periods. They are particularly interested in beaches, regional cuisine, and exploring cultural heritage of countries of the world. Therefore, the leaders of the Association expressed their hope that the Consulate General of Belarus in Ho Chi Minh City, especially the Consul General, will facilitate favorable conditions for Belarusian visitors traveling to Da Nang to connect with Hue and experience Hue Ancient Capital.

The Tourism Association, its affiliated groups, and tourism service enterprises have committed to developing promotional travel packages tailored to the Belarusian market, ensuring high-quality services across transportation, attractions, accommodation, cuisine, and overall travel experiences.

Consul General Alexander Dmitrievich Sidoruk expressed his appreciation for the warm reception from the Tourism Association and local businesses, and noted that the meeting would open up opportunities for cooperation between the two sides.

Consul General Alexander Dmitrievich Sidoruk added that the Minsk - Da Nang direct flight will be operated as a charter service, with one flight approximately every 10 - 11 days. This will be the third air route connecting Belarus with destinations in Vietnam (after Phu Quoc and Nha Trang). The close geographical distance between Da Nang and Hue provides favorable conditions for bringing tourists onward to Hue.

Consul General Alexander Dmitrievich Sidoruk confirmed that he would further promote cooperation and tourism exchange between the two countries. In particular, upon returning to Ho Chi Minh City, he plans to work with Belarusian travel companies to strengthen promotion and cooperation efforts, with the aim of making Hue an attractive destination for more Belarusian tourists.
