The launch also marks the second anniversary of the train’s operation (March 26, 2024 - March 26, 2026). To celebrate the occasion, a 50% ticket discount program will be offered on that day.

Mr. Luong Xuan Thuong, Director of the Railway Transport Joint Stock Company - Dong Hoi City Branch (the unit directly managing the “Connecting Central Heritage” train) stated that the newly launched train has been upgraded from the previous heritage model. The trains coded HD1/4 (Hue train) and HD2/3 (Da Nang train) consist of seven carriages, including four 56-seat passenger cars equipped with seats that can rotate 360 degrees in the direction of travel, one 32-seat VIP carriage, one community carriage, and one carriage for the train conductor’s operations.
On the launch day, March 26, the operator will offer a 50% discount on tickets for the “Connecting Central Heritage” train. In addition, a 10% discount will be applied to train tickets for trips running from March 27 to April 1, 2026.
According to the train operator, the program serves as a gesture of appreciation from the railway sector to passengers who have consistently supported and accompanied the development journey of the “Connecting Central Heritage” train. At the same time, it offers visitors an opportunity to experience this unique tourism train and enjoy the natural beauty and cultural charm of Central Vietnam along an inspiring railway route.
