| Leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City received 2 billion VND donation from BIDV |
At the handover ceremony, a representative of the BIDV Hue City Branch stated that in recent times, due to the complex developments of natural disasters, typhoons and floods, many areas in Hue City have suffered severe damage, directly affecting the daily lives and production activities of local residents. Sharing the hardships and losses faced by the people, BIDV hopes to join hands with local authorities to help residents overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives as quickly as possible.
Driven by the spirit of “mutual affection”, and “the intact leaves protect the tattered ones”, the 2 billion VND donation demonstrates BIDV’s social responsibility, companionship, and commitment to supporting the community, especially the localities being heavily affected by natural disasters, typhoons and floods.
Mr. Duong Dinh Luan, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, expressed his sincere thanks for BIDV’s timely and meaningful support to Hue City. He emphasized that this is not only a material contribution, but also a significant source of spiritual encouragement, helping the locality and people soon recover from the consequences of natural disasters, stabilize their lives, resume production, and promote socio-economic development.
According to data from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, to date, through the Committee’s channel, many organizations and individuals have supported the People of Hue City with more than 175 billion VND, along with over 1,000 tons of goods, necessities, and supplies, etc., to assist them in disaster recovery efforts.
