| Many messages were conveyed to the children through the performances of students from My Thuong Ward |
The contest attracted 6 teams from various communes and wards, including My Thuong, Phu Vinh, Phu Vang, Hung Loc, Loc An, and Phu Loc. The teams competed in 4 sections: Propaganda, Knowledge, Oratory, and Skills. The contest content was designed to be diverse, lively, linked to real-life situations, and suitable for the students' age group, creating an energetic and exciting atmosphere from the very first rounds.
Speaking at the contest, the leader of the Department of Health emphasized that in recent years, the protection, care, and education of children have consistently received attention from Party committees, authorities, and mass organizations at all levels in the area, and have been implemented synchronously, achieving many positive results. However, accidents and injuries, especially drowning incidents, remain one of the leading risks threatening children’s safety and lives.
Beyond being a beneficial and healthy playground for students, the contest also contributes to raising the responsibility of families, schools, and the society in the prevention of child drowning. The message “Taking action for the safety of children - Joining hands to end child drowning” was spread throughout the program, leaving a profound impression on delegates, teachers, and students alike.
