| Awarding scholarships to students |
On this occasion, the Keidanren & JCCI Scholarship Program awarded 20 scholarships to students of Hue University, each valued at 7 million VND. Previously, in 2024, 20 outstanding students of Hue University also received Keidanren & JCCI scholarships. These scholarships contribute to helping students become more confident on their academic journey, while also gaining a deeper understanding of Japanese culture and the strong cooperative relationship between the two countries.
Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Do Thi Xuan Dung, Vice Director of Hue University, emphasized that for more than 20 years of partnership, Keidanren, JCCI, and Japanese enterprises such as Sumitomo Corporation, MUFG Bank Group in Vietnam, Sojitz Corporation in Vietnam, and others have consistently shown practical care and support for students of Hue University. The scholarships not only carry material value but also serve as a great source of spiritual encouragement, motivating students from disadvantaged backgrounds to strive and excel in their studies.
Ms. Do Thi Xuan Dung expressed her hope that the relationship between Hue University, Keidanren, JCCI, and Japanese enterprises in Vietnam will continue to grow strongly, contributing to the strengthening of friendship and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Japan.
