Among the localities receiving support, Hue City received 5 billion VND from Phu Tho to overcome the consequences of the natural disaster.

The recent floods caused serious damage to many provinces in the Central and Central Highlands region. According to preliminary statistics, the floods left 91 people dead and 11 missing; over 1,300 houses collapsed or were damaged, and over 200,000 houses were submerged. Traffic systems in many areas were paralyzed, and people's lives and production activities were severely affected.

At the ceremony, Mr. Truong Quoc Huy, Secretary of Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee, expressed deep sympathy for the losses suffered by people of the Central and Central Highlands region. Mr. Huy affirmed that the spirit of solidarity and mutual affection is a precious tradition of the nation, and this support demonstrates the sentiment and responsibility of Phu Tho Province towards localities facing difficulties.

Along with Hue, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Tho Province also provided 5 billion VND to Lam Dong, Dak Lak and Gia Lai provinces; while Khanh Hoa and Quang Tri provinces received 3 billion VND. Additionally, Phu Tho Provincial National Assembly Delegation presented an extra 200 million VND to help Dak Lak Province overcome the consequences of the natural disaster.

On behalf of the localities receiving support, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Nguyet, Deputy Head in charge of Dak Lak Provincial National Assembly Delegation, expressed gratitude for the timely support from Phu Tho, and affirmed that the funds would be delivered to right beneficiaries to help them quickly overcome difficulties.
