In his opening speech, Vice Chairman Nguyen Chi Tai emphasized the importance of international exchange and learning in improving treatment quality. The conference offered Vietnamese doctors an opportunity to access international medical standards, thereby enhancing the management and treatment of hernia disorders.
The conference included multiple in-depth sessions covering new techniques in hernia diagnosis and treatment, as well as live surgical demonstrations. Of particular interest was the pre-conference continuing education session on the afternoon of July 18th, titled “Laparoscopic Surgery for Inguinal Hernia”, which drew strong interest from young doctors. In addition, the 1st meeting of the Vietnam Hernia Society for the 2025-2030 term was successfully held as part of the event.
The 2nd Vietnam Hernia Conference is not only an event to foster professional exchange but also strengthen medical cooperation, laying a solid foundation for enhancing diagnostic and treatment capacity for hernia-related conditions in Vietnam in the coming years.
