With a route across Da Vien Bridge, Truong Tien Bridge and some main roads in Hue such as Tran Hung Dao, Huynh Thuc Khang, Hung Vuong, Ba Trieu, Highway 49 ... Hue half marathon 2018 attracted nearly 1,500 athletes, in which there were 100 foreign athletes and more than 300 athletes from Da Nang, Kien Giang, Quang Tri, Hai Phong, Hanoi ..., compete at a distance of 21km (starting at 5:30 am), 10km (starting at 5:45 am) and 5km (starting at 6:15 am).

Mr. Xuan Hoa (Dong Da Street - Hue City) - a 21 km athlete said: “My wife and I attend this half marathon not because of the medal but because it is our goal to conquer ourselves, and it is the motivation to exercise.
“In addition to the motivation of exercising and maintaining a healthy lifestyle, Hue half marathon also aims to build a more active and developing Hue in the eyes of friends across the country and in the world, contributing to the promotion of Hue’s famous destinations of culture, education, tourism and environment... through the fresh and romantic roads that the athletes run across in the journey to conquer themselves,” said by Mr Lam Vinh Giang - a member of the Organization Board.
